FAQs

You will find some of our frequently asked questions (FAQ) below. However, please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to know more about any of our services.

What’s your turnaround time?

The standard turnaround time is two weeks. However, we appreciate that some patients may need longer and we’ll always do what we can to ensure that we’re catering for everyone fairly by prioritising cases as and when they arrive. For more complex cases we would appreciate a call or an email at the restorative treatment plan stage to talk through the necessary appointments and timeframes needed. Furthermore, we won’t charge any extra for a priority service since we aim to do all within our power to have the job safely in the practice ready for your patients’ appointment.

Do I get to visit the lab and meet the team at Fusion Dental Ceramics?

Anyone’s welcome at the lab at any time, we’re a convivial team who relish the chance to meet new people. We attend trade events, road-shows and conferences on a regular basis throughout the year. Moreover, Mike Fuse, our director and Clinical Dental Technician is always happy to travel in order to assist with complex cases, and his gregarious nature spurs him to maintain and build relationships with valued clients.

Can I see examples of your work before making a decision?

Absolutely, whenever we visit you we’ll always take a selection of cases that we’re currently working on so as to provide a showcase of our most up-to-date and genuine work.

How do I pay you?

We will accept BACs or cheques; payment is required within 30 days of having given clients an invoice.

How will I receive the work?

To all local practices we use a cycle courier service since it’s quicker and more environmentally friendly. To those further afield we use the Royal Mail’s services, guaranteeing next day delivery, ensuring that the work is at the respective practice the day before the appointment. However, we will make exceptions if a same day delivery is necessary. We will go out of our way to make sure that your work arrives with you safely and in time.

What about paying for postage?

We will provide clients with freepost special delivery return envelopes so that practices can send us their work in complete confidence that it will arrive with us safely. We do this in order to allow ourselves to meticulously carry out our work in time and with precision.

Can you make shades at your lab?

Yes, and should you come with someone else, they can relax whilst you’re being tended to.

Where can I find information about your prices?

To obtain information about our prices please fill in a contact form, or alternatively click here to send us an e-mail directly.

Are warranties included?

Yes. All our implant work is backed by a five-year warranty.

Does distance matter?

Not at all. We’ve got customers all across the UK; ranging from the far reaches of Northern Ireland, right the way across Britain to Kent, from Cornwall to the Highlands of Scotland. We communicate with our practices on a daily basis and regularly visit.

What is it that makes your lab particularly different?

We care for your patient; we understand your professional standards and responsibilities and instinctively see them as an integral part of a dental technician’s pastoral role in caring for their patient. We uphold strong familial principles and in our capacity as a team we view ourselves as echoing these principles by adopting a close-knit and nuclear character to our team’s framework. We strive to reflect this in our interactions with clients and in all our professional dealings, with particular emphasis on our preference to meet with people on a one-to-one basis.

Furthermore, a prominent feature of our work is its bespoke nature; we listen to what you want and we will create tailor made products to suit your needs and provide the best treatment for your patients. We strongly believe that Fusion Dental Lab and our renowned lab-work are the best medium between you and your patient. In addition to this is our advantageous centrality within the UK and our coveted accessibility to the M4 corridor.
