Meet The Team

Mike Fuse RDT BSc (Hons)

Mike Fuse has more than 15 years’ experience in dental technology and he established Fusion Dental Ceramics in Cardiff in 2005. He has quickly built a reputation for creating natural-looking teeth and providing superior levels of craftsmanship.

Mike has a particular interest in dental implantology and full mouth rehabilitations and is currently studying for his Dip CDT RCS. He is one of only a handful of CDTs in the country who have a special interest in All on 4.

Mike has worked with Nobel Biocare for over a decade, in the capacity of a mentor but also as a lecturer for them, as well as for the Association of Dental Implantologists. He is a member of the Dental Laboratories Association and the Association of Clinical Dental Technicians.

Education and Training

We remain up-to-date with the very latest products, techniques and technology in Dentistry thanks to our continual investment in training and education.

We go to local ADI study clubs and also frequently attend specialist courses, including ones as far afield as the US, Italy and Portugal.

But our dedication to education doesn’t stop there: we have supported our Technicians whilst they studied towards an MSc in Dental Technology, a Dip CDT RCS, and one of our apprentices who studied for a Degree in Dental Technology.

Mike Fuse is himself involved in implant education and is a mentor for Nobel Biocare and the ADI; teaching other professionals about All-on-4TM.

He holds a City and Guilds Dental Technician’s Certificate, an Advanced Crown and Bridge Certificate, as well as certificates in Further Education Teaching, and Management.

He makes cohesive contributions to the social dynamic of the dental lab, and in addition to his wealth of knowledge about cosmetic dentistry, he also knows a thing or two about real ales and keeps a keen eye on both the Cardiff Blues and Wales’ progress on the rugby field.
