Education and Training
We remain up-to-date with the very latest products, techniques and technology in Dentistry thanks to our continual investment in training and education.
We go to local ADI study clubs and also frequently attend specialist courses, including ones as far afield as the US, Italy and Portugal.
But our dedication to education doesn’t stop there: we have supported our Technicians whilst they studied towards an MSc in Dental Technology, a Dip CDT RCS, and one of our apprentices who studied for a Degree in Dental Technology.
Mike Fuse is himself involved in implant education and is a mentor for Nobel Biocare and the ADI; teaching other professionals about All-on-4TM.

John works for Fusion Dental Ceramics as a dental technician. With a repertoire consisting of 35 years’ experience in the arena of dental ceramics, he specialises in porcelain and crown and bridge work.
He holds a City and Guilds Dental Technician’s Certificate, an Advanced Crown and Bridge Certificate, as well as certificates in Further Education Teaching, and Management.
He has been a part of Fusion since 2005, and before joining our team he ran his own dental laboratory. But before starting his own lab in 1984, he had gained experience as chief dental technician at the University Hospital of Wales, he had run a conservation lab and he’d taught student technicians.
He makes cohesive contributions to the social dynamic of the dental lab, and in addition to his wealth of knowledge about cosmetic dentistry, he also knows a thing or two about real ales and keeps a keen eye on both the Cardiff Blues and Wales’ progress on the rugby field.
